Port Angeles lives up to its motto, “The Center Of It All”; Situated right between the Olympic Mountains, and the sandy beaches of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, we truly live in an earthly paradise.
Port Angeles is also growing economically and socially; more and more families are discovering Port Angeles and making it their home. Businesses are also finding this place a great place to build their businesses, and in 2005 we had a low unemployment rate of 5.8%.
The Olympic Peninsula is a recreational paradise. You can bike across Hurricane Ridge, sail on Puget Sound, or hike in the country's only rain forest. We have many celebrations and festivals, including the popular Lavender Festival, Joyce Daze, Irrigation Festival, and the Clallam County Fair.
