Janet and David Stevenson moved to Port Angeles in 1991 with a household of 3 daughters, now all grown up and raising their own families. After working at Landmark for 7 years, Janet purchased Landmark from then owner, Ann Cline.  The small business grew from 4 people increasing to 12 and 3 moves later to our current location.

Janet, a native Texan, has grown to love the Pacific Northwest and has put down solid roots in this community. Janet is very active member of several community based organizations and keeps very active with family, church and friends.  Now with three grown daughters and eight grandchildren there is always many things to keep life interesting!

         “I have a passion for the real estate industry and could not see life without being involved with property management. As the designated broker and sole owner, I take a very hands-on approach with the other agents and all aspects of the business.   Properties by Landmark, Inc. has grown through the years due to the hard work and dedication of a team that has many years of combined experience and expertise. The market changes and grows so does the demands and the need for knowledge of the Landlord-Tenant law.”

I joined the staff of Properties by Landmark, Inc. in November of 1998, working as an assistant to Ann Cline whom founded Landmark in 1986, so I learned Property Management from the the best in property management ! When Ann neared retirement, I continued on her legacy , obtained my managing brokers license in 2010, and continuing to strive to manage and support our owners in maintaining the assets put into our trust and care.  My assistants are both part-time, Sandy and Tricia.

     “My strength is working with people, problem solving and customer service. I enjoy meeting the many new people whom are our owners and tenants. Every day always seems to bring on new challenges to solve and never a dull moment.  In my spare time, my passions are family, pets and quilting.”

 

staff_sandraSandra Miller, Managing Broker

Sandra’s roots are based in Minnesota, growing up on the family farm, spending high school years playing sports and keeping active. After graduation, she attended Mankato State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

After three years of active duty in the Army and two years Army National Guard, she moved to the Peninsula. Sandra has been a licensed real estate agent with us since 1990, working directly with approximately eighty clients from all over the US. She handles all property management aspects of about two hundred residential, commercial, & storage units.

In this job, I’ve had the opportunity to see a lot (sometimes more than I want to), learn a lot (if I must) and change a lot (sometimes not always the easiest)!

Along the way, I’ve worked with some incredible people: My staff consists of a two assistants,  new part-time assistant, Dan (with 30 years of commercial property management experience) and Becky  with incredible customer, computer and technical expertise. They help keep operations running smoothly along with the entire Landmark support team.

A wonderful husband, a sense of humor and my faith in Jesus anchors me. Living amongst gray sky weather and now with gray hairs on my head, I still try to keep a colorful perspective on life through it all. I strive to be a hard-working, competent person of integrity and look forward to helping you with your rental or management needs.
